The BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER!!

I got this recipe from the mother of a boy I dated in high school, so I've been making this recipe for about 15 years. When done just right, this cookies are VERY moist and chewy and my family loves them so much that they are gone the day I make them. No leftovers!!! :)

June's FAMOUS chocolate chip cookies

2 sticks butter (softened)
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs. Mix dry ingredients, then add to creamed mixture. Mix until well blended. Add chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough for one hour and only bake on perfectly smooth and clean non-stick light colored pan or with parchment paper on any other pan. If your pan is dark, the bottoms will get too dark and/or the batter will spread out all over the pan. Cook at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes until light brown.
