Staying home on a snowy day

Wally and Beaver are all set to go back to school tomorrow, but it sure has been nice getting to be home with them for 17 days over Christmas vacation.

Today we woke up to the most beautiful snow shower. It doesn't snow here very often and it only accumulates about once a year (usually only 2 inches or so) so we were very happy to see it coming down so hard today. Ward went ahead and went in to work since the roads seem to be ok, but I feel so blessed to spending this very cold January day at home with the boys, enjoying a fire in the fireplace and watching our yard turn white.
